The clocks go on
Tick Tock Tick Tock
We use our time trying to change it
Tick Tock Tick Tock Tick Tock
We don't realize what we have
Tick Tock Tick Tock
Until it's gone

This is really about the fact that time goes on at its own pace, and we always spend our time in the past. We never realize what we really have in the present, and how eventually we lose what we have, and so we spend more time in the past were we had that thing we lost, and how it ruins our future.
