Silence
I asked if you would talk and you said yes,
but yet this page sat in emptiness
you wouldn’t speak a word to me,
something is wrong I can see,
but if I’d ask you’d say I’m wrong,
that every thing has been okay all along
then why won’t you say even one word
when I am near,
it bothers me and fills me with fear
I know you like being my friend,
but then, why don’t you show it, and let the problems mend
if I did something just let me know
cause I don’t want you to be my foe
whether or not I’m sorry, cause I know I made things awkward
I hope this gets to you and that it’s heard
I want things to be back to normal
with all the laughs and fun, nothing too formal
I miss that world, where did it go?
if you figure that out could you let me know?
Please just talk to me
friends aren’t meant to be this silent, V
