Alone
Alone is a darkness, that laughs in your face
When you wake up, it will all be erased,
Is it than you think you are safe?
HA, please don’t be so naïve, me dear
For darkness loves misery’s company
So go ahead where that false bliss,
You perceive for people to see you,
Cannot be hidden within the depths of your soul,
For darkness creeps and emerges
The truth of your loneliness,
Yet still the road of moments of misery, gets done
By everybody even me,
Yes, in those darkest lonely moments,
I was scared and even shed a few tears,
It’s normal for us to fear eternal loneliness,
For it frightens the spirit and darkens the soul, just a few colors off,
But it’s you,
Who can stop misery’s company and loneliness,
From creeping on in, but now as you lay in your cold bed,
Thinking it’s not real, your eyes almost closed,
Brain half asleep, yours in now,
You want to go to bed, but realize,
Because of the darkness that fills you,
Your now beneath alone’s wing..
