Time for Water
From east to west, north to south,
The sun dances along the surface,
Humid moisture collects around my mouth,
The reflections radiate across my face
It’s summer now, time for the lake,
Grab the boat keys and your swim trunks,
No chores now, no need to shovel or rake,
No need to worry if you’re going to flunk
Gunning the motor, the wind whips by,
The world flies by in a sparkling flash,
My skis hold me up, going so fast, oh my!
I’m falling now, time for a splash!
