The Plight of Teachers
A book, an apple, a symbol,
Of knowledge and learning,
Turning the fool and imbecile,
Into the wise and knowing
A more important role,
I have yet to find,
To fill the empty holes,
In the brain and the mind
So why take away,
From our shining examples?
“There is no other way,
Government money is not so ample”
Despite everyone’s political view,
We need to stop fighting and see,
What we should truly cherish and value,
The future education of you and me
But our future now is not so bright,
Take from teachers, you take from us,
Please come to see the light,
All you’re doing is creating lots of fuss
