Space Travel
I travelled the entire
Milky Way
To find something as close
To what we had
And in every orbit
They all become fads
I remember the way
You entered my shell
I knew at some point
In every cell
Of my body
That you would
Stay special in my heart
And as we stand here
Face to face
It seems as if everything
Has arrived in haste
For it was only months ago
That you and I were perfect
And it just seems so surreal
That we're here.
And as you enter my atmosphere
My vision becomes blurred
Because when you touch me
I forget everything I've learned
As I gravitate
To this love still unknown
I'm trying to be my best
So I don't blow my cover
