Drive
Some people say life is a road Long, winding,
Never knowing what obstacles you'll encounter.
Many companions,
Some for a long term trip,
Some just hitching a ride.
I'm glad you rode with me,
Through the storms and debris, Giving me directions.
Sometimes, we may have a flat tire,
Stalling us,
For a while or an instant.
You drove me for a while, Letting me rest and
Take in the scenic beauty.
Even if your trip may end down the road,
And you find another traveling partner,
Your eternal companion,
I hope you'll never forget our ride.
