The swallows will always sing around the smoke stacks

The feeling of drowning
Is slowly creeping
Father and father down
Into Darkness

Deaf to the sound of reason
Losing all feeling of you
Being blind to what is right in front of you
It’s all a part of drowning

When you drown
Nothing matters
You lose all sense
Of whom you really are inside

The author's comments:
I have know people who have drowned, but have always swam back to the surface before drowning too deep
