My Pen
Can you see my pen?
Slipping, silently, soundlessly
over my paper?
This pen symbolises a dream.
My dream.
My dream of writing.
Pieces of stories,
books scattered,
they inspire me but,
So many people put me down
And I am anticipating, antsy, and needing
answers for reasons why.
I need the help, the dream to keep dreaming,
The pen to keep
slipping silently, soundlessly,
over my paper.
The pen to keep
symbolising a dream.
