People pass her in the halls
Unknowingly shove her into lockers
People don’t know her name
She just fades
People laugh and point
Just cause she won’t smoke or drink
What people don’t see is that their words hurt
But they hurt her, they strike at her already fragile confidence
Her parents pray for her to get better, but to no avail
The want her to see herself as valuable, not worthless
But she doesn’t see it, then now all of a sudden
Everyone’s attending her funeral,
She swallowed too many pills
She is dead
All because she thought no one cared, now they do
Too bad most don’t even know her name
