Confusion
Age is but a number,
or so i'm told,
Yet somehow,
my heart is still stone cold,
He looks at me longingly,
walks with me reluctantly,
But i still turn him down gentaly,
I see the frustration hidden in his eyes,
I see how my own anguish pains him,
So I try to hide it quietly,
Yet he sees past my fake smiles,
Through my hesitant speach,
Then immediatly tries to confront me,
I try to lie but fail,
I try to shrug it off,
But he stays asa friend,
And savior,
Always hoping to someday be more.
