Living Fantasy
Feeling all there is to feel
Not too sure what's real
Various colors, swirling and twirling
All of life's negatives, sugar coated
Reluctant to move, may fall back into reality
Faces every which way
Some familiar, most distorted
Losing track of the day, feeling it all slip away
Studying these masks
Unable to grasp these images
Running, chasing nothing
Forces pulling me left and right
My arms stretching, worn and torn
Formerly new, now used and abused
Turn and retreat, finding bliss in defeat
Wonder into an open field
Dark, yet comforting
Collapse in the brush, feeling a rush of belinging
Crawling towards the truth, growing tired
Rest now, energy drained
Living in my fantasy
Having all the time in the world
