Stop Saying "I"
Your eyes are different than mine.
They Glow a greedy Green.
Like the world, the one you see-
Very differently than me…
I see the world as what it could be,
Rather than what is it…
I tend to care more about yesterday,
Than I do today…
Wars of a hundred years ago fascinate me more,
Than the wars of the present…
And I’d rather fight for tomorrow‘s dreamers,
Instead of surviving today…
I trust the words on a page,
More than I trust my own intellect.
I am a ignorant fool who believes in her own worthlessness..
And I need to stop using the word “I.”
Gone.
I need to focus on the little details
Of a Small picture…
Rather than the general idea
Of a gargantuan mural…
This is our only similarity.
But soon this will be gone.
Soon this will be…
Absolute Chaos.
Pure Inanity.
Possible Insanity.
Acute Rambling.
A Maniacal Laugh.
A slow revelation…
Building anticipation…
And Still…
Could it be? Creation?
“Now! Now! Now!” Your green eyes cry.
No. A Sharp Decline.
Gone.
“Lies! Again, Try!”
Gone!
And still…
I don’t even know who I am,
So tell me,
How could do you see,
And Know,
What I am meant to be?
When I have so much to Say!
About Life and Love and Death and…
Gone.
