Alone on the Left
I was taught to do right, to keep right--"Don't stray left."
But left looked so good.
I could, walk down the middle and get the best of both worlds but the words that I've said will only "leave you 'left' for dead."
Left crept and kept me tangled up, captivated and hooked, so I took a risk and walked a crooked line on the yellow dashed line. This time I decided for myself that I didn't want help and could make it to the end of this road on my own-alone.
By the time I got to the end, I ended up beat, indiscreet causin a scene, yet still stood on both feet. I guess this isn't so bad afterall, even with my call, I stand tall; I now know what it's like
to
fall.
