Reflections Burn
Starring at my reflection
It's nothing I want it to be
Although I'm not surprised, it still burns
I don't see what everyone else does
I'm just a girl with too many flaws to be special
My makeup only covers so much
What more can I do?
Head hung in shame, I can't look anymore
My own image mocks me
This frustration is too much
Tears of anger fall as that hateful mirror shatters
Staring down at the little pices of glass
I'm jealous of the way they shine
My face appears so broken
I denied it until now, but I really am broken
As my reflection burns, I see what I didn't before
It makes sense now
I'm oh so broken
But oh so beautiful
