My fortress
My fortress is one of solitude,
my structure made of sand.
So that once i win,
it crumbles in my hand.
My wals are high,
i cannot reach
where my journey ends.
For I won't be missed,
cause I've barely began.
i will not tear my tower down-
this fortress built so high-
cause I will have to build it up,
on my own, once again.
My hair is red in summer's light,
my eyes as blue as the sky.
I'm different- so they say-
but i have to wonder,
Why?
So I can have my tower still?
This structure made of sand?
So I may journey by myself-
with noone here to blame?
My fortress is one of solitude,
my structure made of sand.
So that once I win,
it crumbles in my hand.
