Clouds
Clouds come and go,
But when they stay,
I see this world,
In shades of grey.
Color was here,
Color was there,
But now it is suppressed everywhere.
My life is muted,
Grey abounds,
I hear my thoughts,
And my heart pound.
It gives me time to think of life,
The never ending,
Ceaseless strife.
Its complex riddles,
Simple gifts,
Cloudy days keep my thoughts adrift.
