Tomorrow
The world is a bad place, I say,
But we can make it better one day,
With crime and terror in the street,
And corruption in every politician you meet,
With pollution on the rise,
And populations of unimaginable size,
But I am a child with no power or choice,
However my youth, I still have a voice,
We must change, we must repair,
Many nations are on the brink of despair,
My wish is great, let it be known,
So we must be united and not alone,
May the world be rid of hate and sorrow,
So we may build a brighter tomorrow,
May we start an new era of prosperity and peace,
And leave the world better than before our lease,
For at our core we are humans, just the same,
We all have lives, a name,
There is a chance, I like to say,
That things will change, I hope, one day.
