Beauty of whatever kind, in its supreme development, invariably excites the sensitive soul to tears.<br /> -Edgar Allan Poe

Your sweet.
Too sweet.

I'm concerned.
I'm ashamed.

You are modest.
Yet, you lack
respect towards
others in
your path
of destruction.

You take innocence.
You infect with
your so-called "wisdom".

Yet, it is not wisdom.
It is arrogance.
It is "pleasure".

You are naive.
Naive.

It's your true nature.

Those whom you have turned
into addicts of lust.

Of pleasure.

Look what you have done to me.

Realize that you ruin minds.
Minds of purity.

Minds that strive to one day be
"something".

"Something" other than foul
play.

It was not wanted,
You were not invited
inside.

My innocence is gone,
you just stride by.

No longer the modest man I
had believed you to be.

I was wrong.
My mind is no longer pure.

Yet - I do have something
to thank you for.

You have opened my eyes,
you have inspired me.

To ignite excellence.

To make people aware.

And though you are so foul,
there is goodness in you.

I can only pray that you will
realize the horror you have
caused the world.

Those you have harmed.

And I will continue
broadening horizons.

Rape.

It is not a lovely thing to experience. Nor, a nice thing to hear about.

But now you see - The world isn't as safe as you think it to be.

Some truths best left unspoken.

I cannot honestly say this poem didn't upset me, I hate thinking about such things.  But I think it is very sweet of you to not bare any ressentment. I hate to say it, but I'm not so forgiving.  Mother says if I believed in God I would be more forgiving.  Do you believe in God?

This is beautiful. If that guy did that to you, don't use him as hate, use him as fuel- fuel for beautiful writing like this. Well written, simple and powerfully wrentching.

For what it&#039;s worth: it&#039;s never too late or, in my case, too early to be whoever you want to be. There&#039;s no time limit, stop whenever you want. You can change or stay the same, there are no rules to this thing. We can make the best or the worst of it. I hope you make the best of it. And I hope you see things that startle you. I hope you feel things you never felt before. I hope you meet people with a different point of view. I hope you live a life you&#039;re proud of. If you find that you&#039;re not, I hope you have the strength to start all over again.

If this has really happened to you, my heart goes out to you.

Has this really happened to you? It's so sad but that is what makes writing powerful. I am truly sorry if this has happened and want you to know that you have great courage. Great Job.
