I thought
It's funny
How I thought could push my past deep down inside
And pretend I didn't think about it
I thought I could pretend it wasn't eating me alive.
I thought I could fake this
And take the bullets out of my chest
You even moved away
But your memory won't rest.
Theres not a day that I don't remember the story of us
Stupid me, I confused love,
With lust.
I guess im writing this poem
Just to be okay again
Just to remember who I am.
