My Best Friend's Band Aid
I knew this wasn’t good for her
I knew from the start
She trusted him
He destroyed her heart
He wasn’t there for her
No trust, respect, just lies
Now I’m in the bathroom
Holding her while she cries
I know how much she liked him
He had her by her heart strings
But inside, there’s only silent screams
She’s still wounded
She’s scarred deep
She needs a band aid
Her band, aid is me
