The Beginning

To some,
happiness is nothing but a virtue.
But to the rest of us,
it's a dream we hold onto.
And once in a while,
we get a little taste
of what it feels like
to not be your own
object of hate.
While for the rest of these days,
we sit and we wait
for the next bad thing
to come our way.
You can run,
but you can't hide from fate.
Maybe dying is the only way...
