Little Chocolate Chip
A small innocent puppy
As small as the palm of my hand
So soft, so small
So lovable
So scarred
Those little blue eyes always starring at me
Like a little chocolate chip
His hair grows as thick as a lion's mane
His hair falls off like a leaf falls off a tree in autumn
His tongue is as small as a mouse's ear
His eyes as small as a skittle
Runs around like a pony frolicking in a meadow
Trying to bite the butterflies
out of the sea blue sky
Growing up before my very eyes
Now as big as me
he is not my little chocolate chip
anymore
His paws as big as my hand
His head as big as mine
His eyes as big as my big toe
His tongue as wide as my my three fingers and as long as my hand
So I say goodbye to my little
Chocolate chip
and say hello to giant size
Hershey bar
