I Am From
I am from the apartment on the top floor.
I am from blond hair and brown eyes,
To being very skinny.
I am from tickle me too's
To sledding late at night.
I am from sharing rooms,
To constant fights.
From "I'm scared, will you come with me?"
To "Don't be scared, your such a baby."
I am from the baggy clothes and no jeans,
Being the tom boyish type.
I am from "Why can't you touch this?"
To "why can't you wear that?"
I am from the soft bristles going down my back,
To shaving cream squished between my toes.
I am from sticking my hands in rice for 15 minutes,
To doing dance for six years.
I am from the understanding mother
And the hard working father.
I am from the helping grandpa
And the loving grandma.
I am from the annoying little brothers,
To the Irish twin sister.
I am from the neighbor's backyard,
To the single tree in the front yard.
I am from the many sleepovers,
To far away camping trips.
I'm from playing Poll's,
To playing in the dirt.
I am from cake-for-breakfast on birthdays.
I am from these moments,
Forever and always.
