Freedom
A fortress strong,
made of stone,
stands tall,
stands alone.
A little child,
staring up,
discovers,
it is warm to the touch.
They stand surrounded,
by hills of snow,
by demons and evil,
nowhere to go.
The little child,
fears for her life,
though it was dreadful,
and full of strife.
For it was the only thing,
she knew was true,
and was all she knew,
how to do.
But she took comfort,
in the tower,
and found that she,
could no longer cower.
For when she,
found the door,
she was relieved,
her sin was no more.
