Crumpled
It was the time of when you first left
That first night
That first night of all the tears freezing on my cheeks
Extreme gusts of wind
blowing my papers through the air
Trying to catch every single one
It was a nightmare
my paper was due tomorrow
how could I rewrite this ten page paper?
But then a figure raised to the right of me
there you stood with the brothers and sisters to the pages I was holding
Crumpled and sagging from the puddles they flew to
Tall and lean,
curly hair, radiant smile
"Since you’re the only other person I see here, I think these are yours..."
you let out a light chuckle
"yes, thank you."
We walked and talked for hours,
then a snow flake fell upon your hair
I began to black out
My eyes slowly opened
kept closing and closing each second
trying to get back
Finish it
I can't
I miss seeing your face, miss it every second
Why was everything turning black now?
Why are you getting farther away from me?
Every four minutes in between
I wish you came back home
