No dwelling on the past
Our sins destroyed nobility
The fear that you created
Diminished honest dignity
Pretend they never happened
But it all turns out a lie
Laughs will fight off demons
They can’t chase away goodbyes
Their facades melt and fade
Wild, brilliant our disguise
Passion drained but lasted long
The secret to demise
So, our strength is fabricated
No one ever knew
But the fun we have is durable
No matter how untrue
