So High, So Strong
You promised no one would get in the way
You always promised you’d be here to stay
I could tell you anything that came to mind
We got so close in such short time
Shorter than that, we started drifting
You took all your sand and started sifting
I was just a small piece, left behind
Not worth anything, not a dime
We built this relationship, so high, so strong
Everyone was right, forever wasn’t long
My place has been taken, and you don’t even see
No I am alone with no one next to me
My face is burning, these tears are never ending
I know one thing, this depression looks accepting
