Decompose
Once I had finally reached the height
Of my glory, something snapped
Inside me.
A rush of wind
Blew blonde streaks of hair across my face
And swirled throughout my body
Washing away The King from memory.
I felt like The Wicked
Witch of the West melting
By the power of water.
The demons had finally
Left me body
And were left on the floor to rot.
I stood up, and saw
The crowd staring
I felt naked, exposed.
Then I looked at the
Ground, and swore I saw
The King still fighting to find
A new body, and regain his
Power.
