A View To Far
A view to far
To see the end
I wait thinking of some way to breathe.
As the waves violently smash across the silk sand
I drift closer awaiting their frozen touch
I stand there feeling cool liquid dancing
Threw my toes, feet
To stand so free I am
Thankful
The sound so elegant and near
Whispering a lullaby
A young child’s goodnight
Soothing, relaxing, calming
The stinging smell of salt, I inhale
It’s sharp smell so strong
And it dances, lingering in my nose
Touching my senses
I hear a call and I wish not to go
Leaving behind my one true love
My hand crawls to the
Sand
Keepsake
Till I return
Again
To a few to far
