Forever an Angel
A lone girl stands among the trees
She looks at nothing
But it’s life she sees
She's ready to go, to get her wings
Ready to fly home
To leave behind worldly things
She smiles at the memories she has left
She laughs, doesn't cry
Done with Sadness's theft
She puts two fingers to her lips
Closes her eyes, blows a kiss
And forgives every one of her slips
Before she fades, on her way she must go
There are many she loves
And she wants them all to know
That she'll never truly leave
Since love is something
That will always show
