Stricken
There is something that you should know,
The secret that lurks behind your black eyes,
The cry that hides behind your pink lips,
The shyness that peaks from your lowered eyelash
And the electricity that flows through your long tresses.
The creamy skin pooled underneath the tightened bow,
The night that falls on your cheeks and the moon that looks upon the pureness of your soul.
The cascading winds that clash with the electrifying hair and the birds those now fly out to their nests.
The little grasshoppers that that are illuminated by the moonlight
And the reflection of you on the white gleaming floor.
Beauty destroys mind and soul.
You want to cave it within the boundaries to save it before it fades out.
It lurks in your eyes today.
I can hear the silent cry for help.
I can see the boldness that wishes to come to light,
And the electricity that is soon dying out.
But I can do no such thing,
For I am nothing but the reflection that you see each day in the mirror.
I fade.
