Maybe I've got it all Wrong.
I stand, fully flushed and thoroughly happy.
Here I am, in the middle of a black and white photograph.
People here are solemn, and unaware.
Of all the strange things happening around us.
I don’t try very hard to convince them,
Of the parties and carnivals thrown about outside.
I know they wouldn’t believe me.
I know their immature minds can’t take it.
So I let them stand here too.
Alone with me.
In the middle of a black and white world.
In the middle of a tragedy.
And without a single memory.
Or glimpse of hope, to keep us happy.
That was the moment when, I heard somebody laugh.
They’re not supposed to be happy.
They don’t know anything.
Or maybe I, had been the one.
Who’d been acting so terribly naive.
In this fully flushed and thoroughly happy
Black and White world.
