Black Thoughts

Black thoughts with a cherry tongue
Dip from your lips and swirl around
The crackling ventricles of my brain.
The pulse of your thumb,
Lingers inside of my wrist.
It is no coincidence each word of my thoughts
Mimics the syllabic rhythm of your potent beat.

Black thoughts with a cherry tongue--
Your bitter breath inside my ear
Damp, like the palms of my hands
As you tie me with your arms, like rope
A noose--
And the chair beneath me quivers.

"You can't get more real than Heaven and Hell"- My dad

I like the flow of this. It paints a picture that I can't stop staring at.

You keep asking people to look at your poem, but you never tell them how to find it! In the future, please give more details.

"My role in society, or any artist's or poet's role, is to try and express what we all feel. Not to tell people how to feel. Not as a preacher, not as a leader, but as a reflection of us all."

This is good. =)

Check out my poem? I need more feedback as well.
