Steel and Spray Paint
There is just something about the trains.
They draw me in.
They make me reckless.
Running- not on my own, past the traffic,
Through red lights.
Past police cars
(that are still searching for me)
Just to sit on the grinded sidewalk,
Hands, feet, heart, eyes
Locked on art before me.
More than 240 tons of steel
And spray paint.
