The Art of Writing
Scribble, tear, erase
Draw a heart on the corner of the page.
Letter here, letter there, sentence, dot.
Not what I want to say.
Another line, begin again, too bad I’m writing this in pen.
When I’m done I have spirals and squiggles and ink blots on the page.
A few words dotted here and there, exactly what I want to say with artwork surrounding the page or maybe it’s just a mess.
