Hypocrisy
A moment, a mere second.
That time, in between everything else.
Where, the fear in your eyes.
Is explicitly shown to other people.
Where your positive attitude.
Is mocked by those, who don’t even smile.
And your laugh is recorded.
Only to be played when you’re crying.
You know, that dance you do.
When your favorite song is playing.
That song you sing along to.
When everything else seems
Terribly aggravating.
A laugh, you laugh
When others are crying.
The cry you mock
When all the others aren’t watching.
That moment, in between everything else.
The way you treat yourself.
When nobody else is looking.
That short second.
In between the stars.
When the world stops spinning.
And your thoughts spill out.
