A Jerk
I should've known from that first look
Like fish attracted to bait on a hook
You were not what you seemed to be
It was all about you- never cared about me
Friends and foes warned me from the start
But to you, I still opened my heart
I gave you all I had inside
And all you gave me was a lie
Yes, until right now I still believed
I hoped deep inside you had never deceived
But in the end, I played the fool
Part of your plan, so you would look "cool"
Now I am gone, not that you care
Your arrogance was too much to bear
Though it hurts now, I'll be stronger in the end
All you are is a jerk, a problem no one can mend.
