The Moon
I will be the moon.
He can be the piano
His music as beautiful as life itself
She can be the sparkling diamond
That everyone wants.
But I will be the rock in the sky
Above you forever more.
You don’t understand the moon.
Why it’s there
Its dark holes in its shining white surface.
The people stare at its figure
The wolves howl at its light
But still it floats
Above us all
Calm and Quiet.
It changes its ways
Whenever it wants
Sometimes dark
Sometimes light
But always there
Always looking on.
It stays there watching
Seeing everyone’s actions
The only one to witness our crimes
Like an ongoing movie.
Maybe in its dark holes
The moon hides its cameras
And the film of our lives
That only we will see.
