I want to be a boat
I want to be a boat,
So I have nothing controlling my current direction,
But the moving sea beneath me.
I want to be a boat,
So I can sail anywhere I want,
And encounter no trouble at all but the high seas.
I want to be a boat,
So I can float freely among the beautiful fish swimming underneath my keel,
Fish with an array of colors,
Like yellow, blue, green and even teal.
I want to be a boat,
So I can study the open sky,
Speckled with stars,
That looks just like tiny fireflies.
I want to be a boat,
So I can feel the wind tickle my sails,
And guide me along the open waters.
I want to be a boat,
So I can have a sailor,
A sailor who can help me navigate through,
Charted and uncharted waters,
But the main reason why I want to be a boat,
Is so I’ll never have to sail alone.
