Just A Dream
Box after box
I toss in my possessions.
Limb by limb
I peal away my obsessions.
Truck after truck
I fill with my life.
Leaving so fast
cuts like a knife.
Hug after hug
we all say goodbye.
The tears form big
as I start to cry.
Post after post
I get farther away.
This is the point
where I wish I could stay.
Then I roll over
the alarm clock screaming.
This was all a relief
I was just dreaming.
