Don't Laugh
I can’t see past the
Mirror,
Or feel your shining eyes
On my back.
If I was to read you poetry,
Please don’t laugh,
‘Cause the world is against me,
And I’m falling in love with
Those Suicidal Thoughts.
So please don’t
Laugh.
As the days go by,
And the nights seem to last longer,
You don’t know what I’d do to
See the sun again.
So please don’t
Laugh.
Your voice gets on my nerves,
And your smile annoys me,
But I can’t help but fall in love
With those sad eyes.
The sky is falling,
And I didn’t even notice.
If tomorrow never comes,
Hold me in your arms.
My tears leave marks on
Your shirt,
And my heart hurts
‘Cause there is nothing there.
Look me in the eyes,
And help me realize that
Today is nothing
But one of those days,
And
Please don’t Laugh.
