Wrong
Caged inside a cold dark night
Crying alone after another fight
Left alone to her own device
She makes her nightly sacrifice
But this time something new occurs
Not something she would prefer
She realized how wrong she’d been
As her hair stood on very end
She wants him to know how sorry she is
And curls up in bed with a t-shirt of his
Too nervous to call him up
Scared that he would blow up
She cries out her heart out her eyes
And vows to apologize this time.
She dreams of him all night long
And tries to forget that she was
ever wrong.
