A sickening feeling that drives a stake through my heart. The world seems unfair and the light within me dims to nothing. As if life doesn't get any harder than this. Moving forward is the first thing that does not become clear in my mind. The loneliness, sadness, and the feeling of betrayal is what drove me straight down the depths of despair... Rotting in the unknown abyss of displeasure with the corpse of unknown mortals like me. Unforgiving torture that came from you, and got through me.


The author's comments:
This may be the first poem I've ever written that truly shows the dark anger that was caused by being betrayed. You can see this any way: relationship, friendship, etc. I believe this is what is beautiful about writing; you can imagine what you read in what ever way you want.
