Uprooted
You are more flowers than the spring
has sprung in its lifetime of red yellow orange sunset sea-
Ambrosia sweetened.
Tear at the soil to find;
To toss your lovely out to the sky
where your canopy of arms flap
around us.
Then battered and bruised
by need.
Pummeling, pouring
down
until the earth spews and tugs
you
uprooted.
