My Aching Heart Forgive
Your beautiful eyes full of bliss,
Your strawberry lips I so tenderly kissed.
The guilt and shame I’ve brought within,
A life without you I can’t live in.
It was the glow you brought
That got me caught.
I marred it, though, with my whims,
And now my heart dims.
The world without you would be dead.
I unconscious would be instead.
Don’t let your pride make you aggressive.
Decrease your ego, and my aching heart forgive.
Consider my apology, my gentle queen
For it is with you that I want to have been.
It is in your presence that I want to remain,
Whom the lovely flower hath slain.
Look within to your previous affection.
See me as a part of your perfection.
Try and recollect
The times before I came to thee neglect.
