My Peace
Peace is a subtle lavender.
It smells like the first Sunday of October, walking to church.
It tastes like hot chocolate as you watch the snow fall on Christmas.
It sounds like rain drops falling on the trees around me.
It feels like the embrace of my mother after a long, tough school day.
It looks like the world is fed and the wars are over.
Peace is contentment at it's finest.

Peace is something hard to come by and I like to imagine everything in this poem. It makes me feel peace.
