Put It All Behind Me
if someone looked back at my latest years,
they would call me crazy,
because they don't understand.
when i look back at my latest years,
i call myself crazy
because i DO understand.
no sense that makes, but true it is.
i am not yet over and through with it all,
but slow steps i take to reach normality.
even when i stare my past in the face,
no old emotions come running back.
instead, a laugh.
because the more i move forward, the less i care
about what's behind me.
