I’m trapped
There’s no escape
The walls are caving in on me
Closer, closer
And with every inch they move towards me,
I get bigger and bigger
More strong, more powerful.
Then I wake up from this dream
It’s not far from reality.
I’m still trapped
There’s still no escape
The walls are still caving in on me
Closer, closer
But with every inch they move towards me
I get smaller and smaller
Less strong, less powerful
More weak, more hopeless

at first, I say how I'm becomming stronger from my hardships but then I realize it was all a dream and I'm still in the same situation but the hardship is making me weaker. does that make sence?

I thought that was intense too :) but I didnt really get the contrast at the ending half of the poem. sorry :P How would you explain it, in other words?
