Favorite Quote:
Twas not my lips you kissed but my soul.

She stare's, locking eyes with the stranger standing there in front of her.She doesn't Know this girl, this long slim graceful girl. Who is this person in the mirror gazing intensely at the smooth plains of her body, trying to figure out just who this girl is. And she stares back with almost a hunger in her eyes. It was only yesterday that she was losing her first tooth and had braids in her hair, wasn't it? A blue gray storm twirling in her eyes, and lips like satin pink.her body no longer holding onto trace's of her childhood but instead replaced with liquid bone structure and the shape her body hold is now curved and defined in all new ways. When did she become less of girl and more a young women?

The author's comments:
growing up can be very difficult on young girls and young men so this poem is dedicated to everyones stranger in the mirror because we all have one.
